La importancia de Cahuachi

What is Cahuachi?

Cahuachi is the largest adobe ceremonial center in the world and one of the greatest treasures of Nasca culture.

It is an archaeological complex made up of pyramids and plazas where religious ceremonies, rituals, and community gatherings were held.

This sacred space reflects the deep spirituality and social organization of the Nasca, and today it stands as a symbol of their legacy that continues to fascinate researchers and visitors worldwide.

The Antonini Museum

The Didactic Antonini Museum is the ideal place to begin a journey into the history of Nasca.

Its halls display original artifacts recovered from Cahuachi and other archaeological sites, along with models and educational materials that explain the worldview of this ancient culture.

More than a museum, it is a bridge between past and present, where visitors can understand the daily life, art, and beliefs that shaped one of Peru’s most enigmatic civilizations.
